Current limitation is set to 250 characters. It is related to our engine servers that can handle limited number of requests in parallel. Soon we will extent our cluster capabilities and remove the boundaries

Now, every "apostrophe" is translated as a wierd "$%&39" text. Seems that there's still a big bug in the translator machine !!!

Hi Littlestart,
We have been recently migrating to the new translation engine, it will take some time until we achieve standard high quality of translation, it will be done gradually and the improvement will be noticeable from day to day.
Thanks for your wishes and Great New Year for You too

This new translation engine is not as better as the other one. a lot of null words and the translations do not make sense at all. That's a pity. It used to be the best online translator.

Yes, We have noticed as sudden and disatrous drop in quality of the translations recently. What i found so good about Frengly at first was that it produced very accurate syntax, grammar and idiom in English instead of a word for word translation. That gave me confidence that translation into other langauges was probably as good, and back translation confirmed it. Now it is as bad as, if not worse than, other very basic machine translation engines on the net. The translations returned are simply unsuable nonsense most of the time. What's happened?

Ok i see teh post about teh new engine, but what happened to all the accumulated knowledge of the old one? Waiting for the new one to learn all over again is not an option when you need a good translation now. i know it's a free service, but this a great pity. It wasn't broke, so why break it? Is the "old" engine gone completely or is it licensed by someone else? If so where can it be found?

The quality gets better everyday as you probably noticed especially for the most popular languages, e.g. french, portuguese, spanish, german, dutch, italian, japanese, arabic. The best what you can do is to provide us the examples of such poor translations so we can try to tune our engine even better in advance

I've found that the English to French translation has turned to nonsense. As an example :-
French to translate into English

n’étant pas là, je vous transmets ma demande pour un nouveau numéro de retour pour des contrôleurs de vannes

Translates French to English as :-

"being to there's, ik yuo transmit mom requesting pe am newcas number offs regreso pe significant controllers offs valving"

I've tried loads of other sentences, all of which just seem to be a random mix of words and languages?

I hope you can fix it soon, i love Frengly
